the challenge

Exagym are a well established product oriented business selling a high touch, high involvement product in a hyper-competitive industry and across several market segments. After hearing our Director Craig talk at a marketing convention they asked us to help them meet the challenge of more competition, declining sales and slimmer margins. Did we mention while all this was going on their advertising costs were blowing out!? Sound familiar?

the tactics

Within a few months of the brief we had identified keyword opportunities not being exploited by their competition and strategies to capture search engine rankings for the common search terms. We developed and comprehensive search engine advertising campaign that covered specific categories and products. After reviewing their Google web analytics we also identified some easily implemented conversion rate optimisation tactics to convert more visitors into inbound enquiries.


the outcomes

  • From Zero to Hero...well almost...we helped them achieve page 1 rankings for 78% of all of their targeted search terms, with over 50% of these being in the top 5 results in Google, Bing and Yahoo
  • Their website started generating its first sales within 5 weeks of the campaign launch
