Having been in business for about 5 years, with no website...aggghhh....David, the owner, was referred to us and presented the usual tale of woe - not enough leads, no time to be pounding the pavement as he has staff to manage and precious little return from his advertising expense. Yep, he was doing the stuff we all do, letter box drops, local paper advertising, and direct mail...Problem is, so were everyone else. His message was drowning and he felt his business was going the same way.
He came to us with an open cheque book (yeah right...he had $2,500 to work with!) Here's what we needed to do;

In early 2009 we launched his new search engine optimised website and Search Engine Advertising campaign. We targeted localised keyword search phrases and geo-targeted the paid search advertising campaign to ensure we were getting him the most bang for his dollars.

Let's face it, there isn't a lot of sexiness about a cleaning business. Therein lies the challenge - take a un sexy business that operates in both the b2b and b2c markets (each with different needs) and build a campaign to appeal to both markets on a shoestring budget. We do manage to squeeze a little more money out of David these days, which is nice. Hey, we don't operate on love alone...
